π The Algebra Residency
15 Weeks β’ $25,000 β’ Proven Results
π Close Algebra I gaps and boost Regents performance with small-group, in-school tutoring.
The Challenge
Students are pushed into Algebra I before mastering prealgebra.
Inquiry-based curricula like Illustrative Math (IM) become a barrier, not a bridge.
Without targeted intervention, Regents pass rates stall or decline.
Our Solution
The Residency Program is a 15-week, in-school tutoring residency designed to quickly close foundational math gaps.
Small groups (8β10 students) with 2 instructors for individualized attention.
Targeted prealgebra + Algebra I predecessor skills to unlock grade-level math.
Delivered in partnership with school leaders, integrated into the school day.
Scheduling Options
Choose the model that works best for your school:
Option A: 2x weekly (2 hours per session, 15 weeks) = 60 hours
Option B: 3x weekly (90 minutes per session, 15 weeks) = 67.5 hours
Aligned with Stanfordβs National Student Support Accelerator best practice (3+ sessions per week = highest student growth)
Proven Impact
Students in our spring cohorts increased Regents scores by 10+ points between January and June.
Principals report stronger confidence and fluency.
Partnered with 6 NYC DOE high schools and growing.
